Children's Ministry
The Scriptures teach that children are a gift from the Lord and we take that seriously. We give thanks for every child that we have the opportunity to love and care for so please know that your child's physical and spiritual safety are at the forefront of our minds!
Redeemer Nursery for ages 0-3: Redeemer provides loving, quality childcare for your infant and toddler from 9:30am through the end of our worship service. Our caregivers (paid staff) and volunteers have gone through a background check as well as training on our child protection policies. Additionally, all caregivers are CPR certified. The Redeemer nursery time consists of free play time, a bible story told by one of our volunteers, a craft, and a healthy fresh fruit snack. We want even our littlest ones to know that they are safe and loved at church so that they can begin to learn about Jesus.
Redeemer Kids meet before the worship service for a time of games, songs, teaching and prayer in the Cornerstone Elementary gym at 9:30 am - 10:05 am. All 4 year olds through 5th grade are invited to attend. We use the Kid Connection curriculum (www.kidconnectiononline.org). It was designed for new churches just like ours. We will start our curriculum in Acts and work our way through the Bible two times over the next four years.
This summer our theme is MISSION POSSIBLE. God has sent all of us on a mission and we will learn how he equips us to love Him and others. Redeemer Kids will send home a monthly handout called "Home Connection" which will help parents by outlining the lessons for the month, including memory verses, catechism questions, and special actvities to do as a family.
